JOHN CHRISTIAN B. SABAL

Managing Partner

John is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with extensive experience in audit, management advisory, and tax support services, gained through his work with both local and international consulting firms. In April 2017, he established JC Sabal and Associates, CPAs, a professional services firm.

He is also a licensed insurance adviser accredited by the Insurance Commission and an active member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) and the Association of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice (ACPAPP). Additionally, he is a partner of XERO Accounting Software in the Philippines.

In his socio-civic endeavors, John served as president of the Rotary Club of Batasan Hills (District 3780) for two consecutive terms, from 2019 to 2021.

Currently, he also serves as an independent and compliance director for some local and foreign companies operating in the Philippines. He has also been commissioned by the Court of Tax Appeals (CTA) as an independent CPA expert to review tax cases.

CATALINA B. BORABO

Partner

Cath is a Certified Public Accountant. She has extensive experience in financial reporting, internal audit, back-office support, and as a part-time professor. She has worked for companies such as Shell Services Manila, St. Dominic Savio College, and Accenture Inc. She is also a member of the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA).

Catalina is a Partner of the Firm.

MAECHEL B. SABAL

Head, Accounting & Outsourcing Services

Maechel, a Certified Bookkeeper Technician, brings extensive experience in accounting, financial reporting, tax compliance, and payroll services. Having worked with renowned organizations such as Mazars Philippines, Inc., Convergys Philippines, Inc., APAC Customer Services, and A.M. Yu & Associates CPAs, she has honed her experience in client solutions and business operations.

As the Head of Accounting and Outsourcing Services, Maechel leverages her skills in financial reporting and people management to deliver exceptional service and support to clients.

MARK ANTHONY A. PONTE

Consultant - External Counsel

Atty. Mark Anthony A. Ponte is a practicing attorney-at-law in the Philippines with a strong multidisciplinary background in law, taxation, corporate practice, and real estate. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), licensed Real Estate Appraiser, licensed Real Estate Broker, and an accredited non-life insurance agent with the Insurance Commission. These credentials provide him with a distinct advantage in navigating complex legal, financial, and property-related matters.

He has worked with established law offices and audit/tax firms before founding his own law practice to broaden the scope of services he offers. With his extensive expertise, Atty. Ponte delivers comprehensive legal solutions to individuals, corporations, and organizations. He is committed to providing practical, strategic, and client-focused legal services while consistently upholding the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.
